Fixed Monitors
Protector Monitor
The Protector Monitor is a simple and rugged fixed station monitor with many unique features. Its patented waterway gives low friction loss and delivers water to the nozzle with fewer twists and turns than a conventional monitor. The optional built-in on/off valve with position indicator eliminates the need to add a costly valve to the monitor installation. The Protector is capable of flowing up to 1250 gpm (4500 l/min) while maintaining a FULL 360° rotational ability. Maximum pressure is 250 psi (17 bar). The Protector is hardcoat anodized ANSI 356-T6 aluminum and is fully powder coat finished inside and out.
Hurricane Monitor
Al Barrak Hurricane Monitor is a durable, industrial, high-capacity fixed monitor. The Hurricane has high flow and low friction loss characteristics. The red powder coat finish (inside and out), and stainless steel elevation drive make the Hurricane one appliance that can stand up to tough service environments. The Hurricane is capable of flowing 1250 gpm (4500 l/min) while maintaining a FULL 360° rotational ability. The lever-action rotational lock is activated in one motion, visually confirmed, and securely holds the Hurricane in position. The placement of grease zerks allows the Hurricane monitor to be quickly and easily serviced and lubricated, and a threaded port (.25” NPT) (6mm) is provided for a pressure gauge. The Hurricane is made from hard anodized ANSI A356-T6 aluminum.
Tornado Monitor
The Tornado is very compact, yet it has a large 2-¼ inch waterway, capable of flowing up to 500 gpm, making it the ideal manual turret. Waterway with turning vane has only 19 psi (1.3 bar) friction loss at 500 gpm (1900 l/min). Elevation range is 90 degrees above horizontal to 45 degrees below. Has 360 degree continuous horizontal rotation. Main waterway made from hard-coat anodized ANSI 356-T6 aluminum. Silver powder-coat finish inside and out. Various inlets are available.
Monsoon Monitor
The Monsoon is a manually operated monitor designed for flows up to 2000 gpm (7,600 l/min). Maximum operating pressure is 200 psi (14 bar). Unique patent pending segmented waterway has only 15 psi (1 bar) friction loss at 2000 gpm. Water makes very few turns as it travels though the monitor resulting in low friction loss and a far reaching effective stream. Elevation range is 90 degrees above horizontal to 45 degrees below. Field changeable elevation travel stops at 45 degrees above, 30 degrees above, and 30 degrees below horizontal. The manual model has continuous horizontal rotation with field changeable stops at 45, 90, and 135 degrees either side of a center position. Available with various inlet flanges and threaded fittings. Inlet also made for direct connection to TFT’s electric Extend-A-Gun RC3 or RC4. Main waterway made from hard-coat anodized ANSI 356-T6 aluminum. Silver powder coat finish inside and out
Typhoon Monitor
The Typhoon Monitor is a manually operated monitor designed for flows up to 1500 gpm (6000 l/min). Maximum operating pressure is 200 psi (14 bar). Waterway with turning vane has only 19 psi (1.3 bar) loss at 1500 gpm (6000 l/min). Available with various inlet flanges and threaded fittings. Inlet also made for direct connection to TFT’s Extend-A-Gun or Extend-A-Gun RC3 or RC4. See chart on next page for model numbers. Main waterway made from hard-coat anodized ANSI 356-T6 aluminum. Silver powder coat finish inside and out. Standard outlet is 3.5”NH (90 mm) male thread. Other outlets available.
